Coming together as a sport and region but developing our athletes, coaches and umpires all at the same time is pretty special.

More info..

What does the development day consist of?

11 year athletes who are selected into their Association will be able to take part in the day as a squad. Smaller Associations who aren't selecting a 11s rep squad will be able to individually register athletes who are 11 years in 2020.

The day consists of two parts. A training session in the morning with all Association athletes being mixed to allow to learn off others and build new friendships. There is also an opportunity for coaches to learn from experience coaches. Part two of the day is a round robin with players playing as as a team representing their Association. A chance for coach and umpiring mentoring. A few more surprises in store but coming together as a region and developing at the same time is fantastic!!

What is the Netball Bushfire Relief?

All raised funds on the day will be alongside Netball Australia’s innovative, Netball Bushfire Relief. It’s fantastic that we are collectively working together as a region alongside our sport to donate to the Netball Bushfire Relief project. Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Appeal and a Natural Disaster Relief Fund which has been established through the Confident Girls Foundation with the purpose of supporting netball-specific bushfire relief and recovery projects.

How will donations be made?
